Puppy Preschool

We believe that Puppy Preschool classes play a very important role in the development of your puppy into a sociable and well behaved dog.

Puppy Preschool classes are for puppies from 6 to 14 weeks of age and provide the opportunity for puppies to socialise in a safe, non-threatening environment.

Exposure to a variety of new experiences and socialisation with other puppies in the crucial first 16 weeks of a pup’s life has been shown to help reduce the development of behavioural problems later in life.

Aside from being a wonderful time for your pup to socialise and play with other puppies your instructor will cover aspects of puppy care including basic training, feeding, grooming, health care, exercise. and canine behaviour.

Puppy classes are held on four consecutive Tuesday evenings from 7pm at City Beach Veterinarians. All puppies participating in the classes must have proof of vaccination. As our class sizes are kept small, between 3 to 6 puppies per class, bookings are essential.

The four week Puppy Preschool course for your puppy includes the classes, a Puppy Preschool Graduation Pack and a certificate of participation.

As our classes involve positive-reward based training we ask you to please not feed your pup 2 hours prior to the commencement of class and to bring a lead.
