Dr Alan Wade has been in practice since 1988 and Dr Neville Robertson since 1985. Alan and Neville bring a wealth of experience to City Beach Vets having undertaken an extensive range of complicated surgical and medical cases. Their knowledgeable and comprehensive team approach to veterinary medicine and surgery caters for all aspects of your pet’s health needs. To make sure they are up to date, Alan and Neville are actively involved in continuous veterinary education.

As Alan and Neville own City Beach Veterinarians you have a team totally dedicated to you and your pet’s well-being and direct access to the people involved in your pet’s health care.

Dr Meg Green is a very talented vet who joined us in 2011. Clients and pets love Meg as she brings her happy personality to work every day. She has an exceptionally thorough approach to her cases which complements our company values.

We have a team of dedicated and trained nurses who love people and are passionate about animals. They are available to help you to look after your pet. They run the weight clinics and help us keep your pets happy and healthy during their stay with us, be it for a consult, bath or when they are in hospital.

Staff Profiles

Neville – Veterinarian

Neville graduated from Sydney University in 1985 and has been in small animal practice ever since. Originally working in Sydney, Neville moved to Perth to undertake a Veterinary Anaesthetic Internship at Murdoch University. After the internship,


Neville worked in a variety of practices in Perth, the United Kingdom and Brisbane. He holds a Masters degree in Veterinary Studies and is actively involved in ongoing veterinary education. Neville has 2 cats, Sapphire and Lucy (black and white), and has a third cat, Angus (ginger), living with him while his eldest son builds a house for Angus. Neville has a new puppy named Maggie. She arrived mid October 2016. Maggie is a purebred Golden Retriever. The picture is of Maggie at 8.5 weeks of age! Stay tuned for puppy pictures on Facebook.

Alan – Veterinarian

Charli a 12 week old Border TerrierAlan completed his Veterinary degree at Murdoch University in 1988. Since then he has worked in Perth and the United Kingdom in many busy small animal practices. He has a wealth of experience in surgery and small animal medicine.

Alan is also actively involved in continuing education. In 2015, Alan completed a short course on Small Animal Ultrasonography and City Beach Vets now has an ultrasound machine that Alan uses regularly.

Alan has 2 cats named Mum Cat and Tom (both black and white) and, after Monty lost his battle with cancer, they now have a beautiful new Border Terrier puppy called Charli. The picture shows her when she was 12 weeks old in 2017.

Meg – Veterinarian

After graduating from Murdoch University in 2010, Meg worked in mixed practice in country Western Australia for one year before joining the team at City Beach Vets. Meg has developed a strong passion for small animal medicine and surgery, and in 2014 she commenced a Masters of Veterinary Studies (Small Animal Practice).

Meg’s pets include a cheeky 4 year old Jack Russell Terrier named Emma, a crazy one year old cat named LC (“Little Creature”), and a fast (occasionally) thoroughbred horse named Barney.



Anita – Qualified Veterinary Nurse

Anita joined our team in October 2014. She completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2012 through Polytechnic West TAFE.

Away from work Anita is kept busy by her very cheeky Labrador, Dexter.

She says one of Dexter’s favourite things to do is go on his regular play dates with Yasmin’s dog Ruby – they absolutely love each other!

Yasmin – Qualified Veterinary Nurse

Yasmin graduated as a Certificate IV Veterinary Nurse from Polytechnic West TAFE in 2015.

She began her employment at City Beach Veterinarians in March 2014 and is extremely passionate about caring for animals.

Yasmin is interested in pursuing a career in canine behaviour.  Pictured with Yasmin is her best pal Ruby, who was adopted from the RSPCA.


Hayley- Qualified Veterinary Nurse

Hayley and her Lovebird, Sven Hayley's family dogs Aura and DesmoHayley started working at City Beach Veterinarians in 2016 and graduated as a Certificate IV Veterinary Nurse from Polytechnic West TAFE.

Before joining us Hayley completed a Bachelor of Biological Science and her passion for animals took her to numerous wildlife sanctuaries, volunteering with animals before deciding to take up a career in Veterinary Nursing.

In her spare time she loves spending time with Sven a lovebird who she hand raised from 2 weeks of age and visiting her parents to see their 2 dogs Aura and Desmo. In 2017 she adopted a Lab cross puppy called Guinness.

Aimee – Postgraduate Student (Dietetics)

Aimee has been working with us since she left high school. Aimee has completed a Bachelor of Science in Animal Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition. Currently she is a post graduate student studying for her Master of Dietetics – she will be a fully qualified Human Dietitian by the end of 2017.

Aimee has worked with us as a weekend receptionist/nurse, full time as a nurse doing the week days and does the weekend hydrobathing.

In 2016 her family got a new Golden Retriever puppy named Kobee. Aimee also has a cat named Izzie.

Chelsea – Veterinary Student Murdoch University

Chelsea with her two dogs, Bradman and MaxChelsea is one of our talented Veterinary Students. She joined us in 2015 and in 2017 is now in her final year at Murdoch Veterinary School. She works mainly on weekends doing reception and helping with the nursing care of our patients.

Chelsea grew up on her family farm in the Wheatbelt and loves dogs, especially her two Kelpies, Bradman and Max. She has grown up with a wide variety of unusual pets, the most recent being two orphaned ducklings!


Ashley – Veterinary Student Murdoch University

Ashley and her 2 dogs and her catAshley started working with us in 2016 initially doing the hydrobaths on weekends. Ashley has now taken on weekend reception duties along with helping with the nursing.

Ashley has realised her dream and is now in first year Veterinary Science after having studied Animal Studies at Murdoch. She aspires to work in small animal veterinary care.

Ashley grew up with animals and has a Labradoodle called Coco, as well as two kittens, Smitten and Smelly, who she adopted after being brought into our veterinary hospital as orphans.
